Description
The Sweet Scent of Blood by Suzanne McLeod is an urban fantasy novel and the first book in the Spellcrackers.com series. Genevieve Taylor is a Sidhe, one of the noble fae, living in a London where vampires, goblins and other fae exist alongside humans.
Genevieve is unusual even among the supernatural inhabitants of this world, where celebrity vampires and scheming lesser fae are part of everyday life. The novel introduces a contemporary fantasy setting filled with supernatural characters, danger and a touch of sensuality.
A good choice for readers who enjoy urban fantasy, fae, vampires and supernatural stories with a sassy, contemporary tone.
