The Intro

As a passionate book enthusiast, my quest to rediscover cherished titles to share with my children led me through the maze of social media platforms and numerous websites. As I was searching, I stumbled upon an elusive Afrikaans book, only to find it listed on an international multi-seller platform — with a very expensive dollar price tag.

And so the search continued…

The Conflict

Over time, I reached two conclusions:

  1. This process is extremely time-consuming. Surely there must be a simpler way to find a book?!
  2. The number of secondhand booksellers and buyers falling victim to scams is rising. Unfortunately, criminal activity has infiltrated this industry as well. As a small business owner, I resonate with the challenges faced by both sellers and buyers in the online trading landscape.

The Resolution

Out of this shared frustration and empathy, my husband and I came up with the idea of a South African-based multi-seller platform dedicated to fostering secure book transactions. We are thrilled to see our project come to life!
