Book Condition Guide

One of the most common questions booksellers get asked is, “How does one grade the condition of a book?”

It’s a good question! Because it’s so subjective, there’s no one right answer. In an attempt to get everyone more or less on the same page, Bookle recommends using this book condition guide. Of course, it won’t be possible to take into account every possibility, but we encourage our sellers to provide accurate descriptions or extra photos. Buyers are also welcome to ask questions or request more pictures from the seller.

* Disclaimer: The descriptions provided by individual vendors for their secondhand books are their own representations. Bookle does not assume responsibility for the accuracy or completeness of these descriptions.
