Description
The Maze Runner is a YA dystopian science-fiction novel by James Dashner and the first book in the Maze Runner series. When the doors of a lift open, Thomas finds himself in a strange enclosed community called the Glade with no memory except his first name. The boys living there have no idea why they were brought there or what has happened to the world beyond their walls.
Surrounding the Glade is a vast stone maze whose walls change position, and every morning the Gladers risk their lives entering it in the hope of finding a way out. But they must also contend with the Grievers, terrifying creatures that patrol the maze. As Thomas tries to understand his surroundings and recover his lost memories, the need to escape becomes increasingly urgent.
