Description
Skunk for Rent (And Other Animal Tails) by Grace Fox Anderson is a collection of Christian stories for children aged 8 to 12, featuring animals, children and everyday situations that explore faith, love, prayer, jealousy and forgiveness.
The stories include a dog battling a deadly snake, a mean rooster meeting his match, baby ducks providing an unexpected answer to prayer and a boy who unselfishly gives away his kitten. Warm, humorous and often touching, the collection uses animal stories to explore Christian values and lessons about how we treat others.
A good choice for children who enjoy animal stories, gentle humour and Christian fiction with themes of faith, kindness, prayer and compassion.
