Three unwitting humans are roped into the chaos, recruited to help repair the ship, dodge an on-board bomb, navigate a quirky computer system, and survive an escalating love triangle involving a roving journalist from the planet Blerontin. True to Adams’s tradition, the plot’s absurdities unfold with relentless and irreverent humour.
