Description
The Cat in the Hat Comes Back by Dr. Seuss is a lively rhyming picture book that brings back the mischievous Cat for another round of chaos. On a snowy day, siblings Dick and Sally are busy shovelling snow when the Cat in the Hat arrives and turns their ordinary chore into an unexpected adventure.
When the Cat leaves behind a troublesome mess, his helpers, Little Cat A, Little Cat B and the rest of the alphabet, join the effort to sort things out. Their increasingly frantic attempts lead to a wonderfully absurd solution involving a gigantic Voom.
With its playful rhymes, repetition and imaginative illustrations, this funny sequel encourages young readers to enjoy language while following the Cat’s increasingly outrageous antics. A great choice for children who enjoy silly humour, rhythmic read-alouds and the classic Cat in the Hat stories.
