Description
The Switch by Sandra Brown is a romantic suspense thriller built around mistaken identity, murder, and a dangerous search for the truth. Identical twins Gillian and Melina Lloyd have occasionally swapped identities since childhood, treating it as a harmless prank. As adults, however, the stakes are far higher. When Melina persuades her cautious sister to trade places with her for a professional engagement involving NASA astronaut and national hero Colonel Christopher “Chief” Hart, Gillian refuses, preoccupied with a deeply personal matter involving a medical procedure she has just undergone.
The following day, tragedy strikes. Gillian is found brutally murdered in her home, and the evidence left at the scene appears to implicate Chief Hart. Convinced that the investigation has focused on the wrong suspect, Melina reluctantly joins forces with the astronaut to uncover what really happened. As they pursue the truth, they discover that Gillian’s death may be linked to secrets surrounding her recent attempt to conceive a child. Moving between suspicion, danger, and growing trust, Melina and Chief follow a trail that leads them toward a hidden and far more complex conspiracy.
