Description
The Law of Evidence is vital to each legal practitioner and is included in the curriculum of every South African law degree. It is compulsory even for degrees not strictly confined to legal subjects, such as the B-POL degree. It is, however, not considered to be an easy subject, especially to persons who have never been inside a court of law. In this work, four academics with practical experience have selected a number of statutes and decided cases relevant to the law of evidence and have provided them with illuminating comments that should assist any student of the discipline. Due attention has been paid to constitutional elements.
