tucked inside an ancient language,
words that breathe within,
from season to season,
each syllable
a fingerprint pressed into time.
the cicadas scream for summer,
voices echo in my chest.
A heartbeat matched by the
pulse of this earth
reminding me that we are one…
Just dust
scattered beneath the blue sky,
painted with a million
Haiku verses.
