Description
Remote Control by Andy McNab is an action-packed military thriller and the first book in the Nick Stone series, drawing on the author’s experience in the British Special Air Service.
When a mission in Washington, D.C., is abruptly terminated, British intelligence agent Nick Stone visits an old colleague, Kev Brown. Instead of finding his friend, he discovers that the Brown family has been murdered, with only seven-year-old Kelly left alive. Stone takes the child and goes on the run, pursued by unknown assassins. As their desperate journey takes them from Washington to Florida and across the Atlantic to England, he uncovers a dangerous conspiracy involving politics, money and terrorism.
A good choice for readers who enjoy military fiction, espionage, relentless action, international conspiracies and tough, resourceful protagonists.
