Description
Guardians of Magic by Chris Riddell is a middle-grade fantasy adventure and the first book in The Cloud Horse Chronicles. Zam, Phoebe and Bathsheba are three children who have yet to discover just how powerful they are. In their world, fairy tales do not always behave as expected, and magic itself can be dangerous.
When enemies of magic join forces to destroy it, the three children must learn to trust their abilities and stand up for what they believe in. If they fail, magic and the mysterious cloud horses could disappear forever. A good choice for middle-grade readers who enjoy magical adventures, fairy-tale worlds, brave young heroes and stories about discovering your own abilities.
