Description
Blood Line by Lynda La Plante is the seventh book in the Anna Travis series, following London Detective Chief Inspector Anna Travis as she takes on a high-profile missing-person investigation. What initially appears to be a disappearance takes a darker turn when a pool of blood is discovered, but there is no body.
As Anna and her team follow the evidence, the case begins to look increasingly like a murder. The investigation draws her into a trail of unanswered questions, suspects and hidden motives as she works to uncover what happened.
A good choice for readers who enjoy British police procedurals, murder investigations, female detectives and gritty crime fiction, particularly fans of Lynda La Plante and the Anna Travis series.
