Description
The 9th Judgment by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro is the ninth thriller in the Women’s Murder Club series, following Lindsay Boxer as she hunts a ruthless killer targeting mothers and children alongside a high-end cat burglar.
The story begins with a horrifying crime in a San Francisco shopping mall garage: a young mother and her infant child are executed in cold blood. The killer leaves behind a cryptic lipstick message on the car windshield: “WCF” (What Comes Around). As Lieutenant Lindsay Boxer launches an investigation, the killer strikes again, continuing a brutal crusade against wealthy mothers and children.
Simultaneously, a sophisticated cat burglar known as “Hello Kitty” is terrorising the city’s elite. The thief slips into the mansions of the super-rich, stealing millions of dollars in jewelry while the residents sleep. During one high-stakes heist, the burglar witnesses a brutal murder, accidentally tying the two completely separate crime sprees together.
