Description
8th Confession by James Patterson and Maxine Paetro is the eighth thriller in the Women’s Murder Club series, tracking two parallel investigations involving the mysterious deaths of the super-rich and the brutal murder of a street preacher.
The story centers on two wildly different cases that grip San Francisco. First, a mysterious killer dubbed “The Killer of the Century” is systematically executing high-profile, glamorous, and incredibly wealthy couples in their own homes.
The deaths leave no forensic evidence, no signs of forced entry, and no obvious motive, sending shockwaves through the city’s elite class.Simultaneously, a beloved local street preacher named Bagman Jesus, who dedicated his life to helping the homeless, is brutally beaten to death in a dark alleyway. While the police department treats the homeless advocate’s death as a low-priority case, the Women’s Murder Club refuses to let it go.
