Bookle's book condition guide
How we describe and understand the condition of secondhand books.
Because secondhand books naturally vary, condition can be subjective — and no single system can cover every possible detail. This guide gives sellers a shared reference point so they can describe their books clearly, and helps buyers browse our secondhand books with confidence.
Sellers should always provide honest descriptions and include extra photos where helpful. Buyers are encouraged to ask questions or request more images before purchasing if they need clarity.
Disclaimer: All book condition descriptions are provided by individual sellers. Bookle does not verify or guarantee the accuracy or completeness of these descriptions.
