Description
Nature Girl by Carl Hiaasen is a wild and uproarious romp through the Florida Everglades, featuring the unpredictable and feisty Honey Santana. Off her meds and driven by a thirst for revenge, Honey decides to take matters into her own hands when a Texas telemarketer annoys her one too many times. Her idea of payback? She invites the unsuspecting Boyd Shreave on a paid ecotour of the Everglades, where he’s introduced to a bizarre cast of characters, including a blue-eyed Seminole named Sammy Tigertail, who serenades them on a rundown key called Dismal Key.
As the group ventures deeper into the wilderness, chaos ensues. Boyd, Honey, and a motley crew—including a private eye with a hot video camera and a fun-loving college girl—soon find themselves entangled in a series of increasingly absurd situations. With a cast of lunatic men, desperate women, and a restless ghost, Nature Girl is a hilarious commentary on human folly and the unpredictability of nature.
