Description
Angel by L.A. Weatherly is a young adult fantasy novel that turns the familiar image of angels on its head, blending supernatural suspense, action and forbidden romance.
In Willow’s world, angels are beautiful, irresistible beings worshipped by thousands who seek their healing touch. But Willow soon discovers that their appeal hides a darker truth. She has always known she is different, with an unusual ability to glimpse people’s futures, dreams and regrets simply by touching them. Yet she has never understood where her gift comes from.
Everything changes when she meets Alex, one of the few people who knows what angels really are. He is determined to stop Willow because of the dangerous power within her. But as they are drawn together, Alex finds himself falling for the very person he believes he must destroy.
The first book in the Angel series, this fast-paced story combines a secret supernatural world, a heroine discovering her true nature and a romance complicated by danger, divided loyalties and the possibility that everything she believes is wrong.
