Description
Catch Me by Lisa Gardner is a crime thriller and the sixth book in the Detective D. D. Warren series. Charlene Grant is convinced she will be the next victim in a series of murders that has claimed her childhood friends one by one, all on the same day and at the same time. With only four days left before the date she expects to die, she asks Boston homicide detective D. D. Warren to investigate.
Charlene has been preparing herself to survive, taking up boxing, shooting and running. But as D. D. examines the evidence, she begins to doubt Charlene’s story. If Charlene is not actually in danger, then why is she so determined to convince the detective otherwise? The answer may reveal a secret more frightening than the murders themselves.
A good choice for readers who enjoy crime thrillers, serial-killer investigations, psychological suspense and mysteries built around unreliable characters and unexpected twists.
