Description
The Good Guy by Dean Koontz is a fast-paced thriller built around an ordinary man’s sudden encounter with a deadly contract. Timothy Carrier is having a quiet drink at his friend’s tavern when a nervous stranger mistakes him for a professional killer and hands him an envelope containing cash and a photograph of a woman he has been paid to murder.
Realising that an innocent life is in danger, Tim must decide whether to walk away or intervene. His choice draws him into a dangerous mystery involving a relentless killer, forcing him to confront threats he never expected and discover courage and abilities he did not know he possessed.
A good choice for readers who enjoy suspenseful thrillers, ordinary-hero stories, cat-and-mouse plots and Dean Koontz’s darker, tension-filled fiction.
