Description
Eye of the Storm by Jack Higgins introduces Sean Dillon, a former IRA enforcer and highly skilled assassin who is now working as a terrorist for hire. During the Gulf War, Iraqi operatives recruit Dillon for a devastating strike against the British government. His target is 10 Downing Street, where he plans a mortar attack on the British War Cabinet, while British Intelligence races to discover his identity and stop him.
Standing in Dillon’s way is Martin Brosnan, an American Special Forces veteran and former IRA associate who knows his old enemy better than almost anyone. What follows is a tense international cat-and-mouse game between a brilliant assassin and the intelligence services determined to bring him down. Combining terrorism, espionage, political intrigue and high-stakes action, Eye of the Storm is the explosive first novel in Jack Higgins’s Sean Dillon series.
