1. What Bookle is
Bookle is a South African marketplace for buying and selling secondhand books. It makes it easier, safer, and more enjoyable to give books a second life.
All purchases are protected by escrow and fulfilled through The Courier Guy locker network.
2. Core transaction rules
These rules apply to every purchase:
- Buyer pays the full order total at checkout
- Payment is held securely in escrow (TradeSafe)
- Seller is notified once payment is confirmed
- Seller ships the order using approved courier lockers
- Buyer receives and inspects the order
- Funds are released after delivery confirmation or automatic expiry of the dispute window
- Shipping is charged per order, not per book
3. Shipping system
Bookle uses The Courier Guy locker network for all deliveries.
Shipping model

- Multiple books in one order are bundled into one shipment
- Bundling is encouraged to reduce cost per book

- Sent between courier lockers

2. Locker-to-door delivery
- Sent from a locker to your address
- More convenient option
- Best for larger or urgent orders

- Most orders fit within a standard medium locker parcel
- Larger orders may be split into multiple shipments if needed
