Description
The Collector by Nora Roberts is a romantic suspense novel that combines murder, mystery and a dangerous world of priceless antiques.
Professional house-sitter Lila Emerson is used to living without permanent ties, moving from one temporary home to another. But when she witnesses a murder-suicide while looking after an apartment, her life takes an unexpected turn. Artist Ashton Archer refuses to believe that his brother was capable of the violence, and he turns to Lila, the only eyewitness, for help uncovering the truth.
As their investigation leads them into an exclusive world of valuable antiques, theft and deception, Lila and Ash find themselves drawn together. But greed and obsession make their search increasingly dangerous, and the truth may put both their lives at risk.
A good choice for readers who enjoy romantic suspense, murder mysteries, art and antiques, and stories where romance unfolds alongside a tense investigation.
