Description
Compulsion by Jonathan Kellerman is a crime thriller and the 22nd book in the Alex Delaware series. When a young woman disappears from a deserted highway, a retired schoolteacher is murdered and two women are brutally killed in a beauty salon, investigators struggle to find a connection between the seemingly unrelated crimes. The only clues are the killer’s use of luxury vehicles and an apparent lack of motive.
LAPD detective Milo Sturgis turns to psychologist Alex Delaware for help tracking down the elusive murderer. Their investigation takes them from the wealthy circles of Los Angeles to its darker outskirts and eventually to New York, where a long-unsolved case resurfaces. As the evidence reveals increasingly disturbing patterns, Delaware and Sturgis face a killer who seems capable of evading identification at every turn.
A gripping choice for readers who enjoy psychological crime fiction, complex murder investigations, serial-killer mysteries and suspenseful detective novels.
