Description
This three-book fantasy bundle brings together books from Sebastien de Castell’s interconnected Spellslinger and Argosi series. The Argosi trilogy serves as a prequel to the Spellslinger series, following Ferius Parfax and exploring her past, the origins of the Argosi and events that help shape the wider world of Spellslinger.
The bundle includes Fall of the Argosi (Argosi #2), Fate of the Argosi (Argosi #3) and Queenslayer (Spellslinger #5). In Fall of the Argosi, Ferius encounters a deadly plague that turns its victims into violent monsters, while Fate of the Argosi follows her efforts to help persecuted members of the Mahdek people find a place where they can live freely. In Queenslayer, the story moves into the later Spellslinger timeline, where Kellen becomes caught in a dangerous plot involving an eleven-year-old queen.
The books combine magic, adventure, political intrigue, humour and philosophical themes, with the Argosi books providing valuable background to a character and world that feature in Spellslinger.
Please note: this is not a complete series set. It contains two books from the three-book Argosi trilogy and the fifth book in the Spellslinger series. Readers new to the world may want to check the series reading order before starting.
