Drawing on local history, folklore, and satire, the book presents a series of comic tales in which the forces of evil repeatedly find themselves outwitted by the colourful characters of the Cape. Enhanced by illustrations from Tony Grogan, the collection combines fantasy, historical humour, and South African flavour in an entertaining and imaginative read.
