Bookle partners with TradeSafe, a digital escrow service backed by Standard Bank, to ensure buyers receive what they paid. Payments are safe and secure. We cover the cost of this service for you!

Don't worry - the price you see is the price you will be charged. Except for your shipping fee, no other charges will be added. Bookle will also cover your transaction fee! Happy shopping!
Affordable Shipping
For as little as R60, have your new books delivered to a nearby PUDO locker (or door for an extra fee). PUDO ships nationwide, with delivery in 1-4 business days after dispatch.
Direct Access To Booksellers
You will have access to the booksellers' contact details. You are welcome to contact them should you have any questions. The seller's email address will be displayed on their storefront.

FAQ for Buyers
TradeSafe is our platform’s payment gateway. TradeSafe’s escrow protects buyers and sellers by holding the buyer’s funds in an escrow holding account until the seller delivers the goods. This is to ensure that buyers get what they paid for, and sellers are guaranteed payment. Learn more about TradeSafe here.
No! The price you see is the price you will be charged. Except for your shipping fee, no other charges will be added. Bookle will cover your transaction fee.
Please note that you must place separate orders for each seller.
Shipping is at the buyer’s cost. We offer two PUDO delivery options:
* PUDO locker-to-locker (R69)
* PUDO locker-to-door (R109)
If your order exceeds PUDO’s available locker sizes, your seller may contact you.
Bundling is easy! Just add more books to your cart and pay in one go (one order). The PUDO shipping fee covers a package of up to 10kg, as long as it fits in the locker.
We encourage our Bookle Stores to keep handling time to a minimum, but ideally no longer than 7 days. Once your seller drops off the package at PUDO’s lockers, it will take 1-4 business days for delivery.
You may want to check a specific store’s Terms and Conditions for an indication of their handling time.
If an item you receive significantly differs from the image or description on our website, please follow these steps:
- After confirming receipt of your package via Pudo, TradeSafe will send you an email asking if you received the correct order.
- If you’re not satisfied with the item, click the “SUBMIT ISSUE” button in the email.
- Provide a description of the problem and click the “Submit” button.
Bookle will then contact the seller to initiate negotiations. TradeSafe will hold the funds while you and the seller work towards a resolution, whether it be a partial refund or a return. Please ensure you have any necessary proof available. Once the issue is resolved, you will receive another email where you will have 24 hours to confirm acceptance of the books. After you confirm acceptance, TradeSafe will release the funds to the relevant parties.
If you don’t get your package within two weeks of ordering, TradeSafe will email you to check if it arrived. If it hasn’t, indicate so on the email. TradeSafe will then inform Bookle, and Bookle will look into it. If the seller isn’t responding, Bookle will initiate a refund within 3 working days.
Courier fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
If you’re not receiving emails from Bookle, Tradesafe, or the seller, please check your spam, junk, or promotions folders. If the email isn’t there, ensure that your email address was entered correctly during registration.
We ask sellers to maintain accurate stock levels. If you purchase a book on Bookle that is out of stock, the seller is responsible for issuing a full refund. If the seller offers a replacement book, you can choose to accept it. TradeSafe funds will only be released to the seller after you confirm your satisfaction with the resolution.
